It is highly recommended that you bring your own yoga mat/rug for hygenic reasons. We do have loaner mats for those just starting out, visiting, or wanting a double thickness mat. We provide an extensive collection of yoga props for your use during practice.

It is optimum to come to class well hydrated on an empty stomach. It is not recommended to drink water during practice.

Every individual's body is different and our needs change day to day. Always listen to your body as your primary influence! "Sthira suka asanam" Asana should be steady and comfortable. Avoid straining, maintain steady breathing, honor variations in flexibility day to day and from one side of your body to another. Practicing yoga consistently over months and years provides numerous benefits. Slow and steady is the most efficient path to improvements.

Please consult your physician before embarking on a new exercise program.

Inform your teacher(s) of any injuries, surgeries, medications, or other relevant problems before class.

Be especially attentive to your body in the case of injuries, surgeries, or medications. It's up to each individual to fully honor and safeguard his/her body. Only the individual is fully aware of bodily feedback such as pain and internal feelings. Be fully responsible for yourself!

Always speak up during verbal or hands on adjustments giving feedback before there is any strain or discomfort and to guide the adjustment to best suit your needs. Feel free to say "no adjustment please".
